But her biggest challenge came from perhaps the most unlikely source: Pam Cimarelli. A part-time player on the Classic Tour, Cimarelli has shown flashes of real promise, including a run to fifth-place at last year’s WPBA U.S. Open. Still, she was certainly an underdog when she drew Jasmin Ouschan in the single-elimination round of 16.

On the hill with an 8-6 lead, Cimarelli lost a safety battle to allow Ouschan within one game.
